About the Caravan

Our beautiful platinum graded caravan has double glazing & central heating throughout so is perfect for those out of season breaks or when the weather is not so warm. Free unlimited WiFi whilst in the caravan for mobile phones, iPads, tablets etc. The caravan is in a cul de sac opposite the boating lake/fair/indoor & outdoor swimming pool/Lakeside facilities, and only a short walk to main facilities. Our caravan interior has been given lots of personal touches giving this holiday home a more welcoming and comfortable feel. On entrance to the caravan here is a light, airy open plan living room/dining room & kitchen area with patio doors at the front allowing access to enclosed veranda. Through a door off the kitchen there is a corridor which leads to the 3 bedrooms, shower room and 2nd toilet. There is one larger than average double bedroom and 2 twin rooms. There is a shower room with large power shower, sink, toilet, extractor & cupboards plus a second separate toilet with sink and storage. To the front of the caravan is an allocated tarmac car park space with parking for 1 car, with additional parking close by. To the side of the caravan is a 24′ x 8 ‘ gated veranda which has a large rattan table and chairs ideal for alfresco dining & a rotary airier to dry towels etc after swimming. There is also an enclosed veranda to the front of the van with a Rattan sofa set, which is accessed via the sliding patio doors, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine or two while you watch the sunset over the boating lake. The modern kitchen is spacious and comes complete with a gas hob with extractor fan, a separate oven with grill above, kettle, toaster, a large built in fridge/freezer, a built in microwave oven, halogen oven, steamer and all manner of kitchen gadgets, utensils and crockery – all perfect if you choose to cook for yourself. For your convenience there is an iron, ironing board, upright vacuum cleaner, hairdryer, travel cot and highchair provided free of charge. In the open plan living room/kitchen/diner there is a large comfy L shaped sofa, tall lamp, large coffee table, wall mounted electric fire, L shaped unit housing a 47″ Smart LED TV, & DVD player. There is also a Bluetooth HiFi unit with DAB Radio/CD/USB so bring your favourite music on disc/USB or stream wirelessly from your phone/tablet. A WiFi router is provided so you can log in and access free unlimited internet whilst in the caravan. The 3 bedrooms all have a wardrobe, drawers, bedside cabinets, overbed units & bedside lights. All bedrooms have wall mounted 24” TVs. We provide cosy and sumptuous duvets & pillows along with pillow and mattress protectors. You can either provide your own duvet covers/sheets & pillow cases or for a small charge to cover laundering costs we can provide linen and make the beds up for you. For your convenience there is a supply of cleaning products, to be found under the sink, as well as a vacuum cleaner – our holiday home is expected to be left in the same pristine condition that you found it in so please do feel free to make use of these! Please remember to bring your own towels, tea towels and a bath mat or two. Gas and electricity are included in the price quoted, caravan is supplied by piped gas so no bottles to change. Please do not charge any electric cars from the caravan supply. Entertainment passes are not included but these can be purchased quickly and easily from the main reception on arrival if required. PLEASE NOTE; we only start holidays on a Monday or Friday, for 7 nights you can either check in on a Monday or Friday. Minimum booking 3 nights. Contactless Check in/out – you go straight to caravan so no queuing at park reception. Arrive whatever time suits you after 1.30pm and let yourself into the van. Primrose Valley holiday park is Havens 5* park situated on the North Yorkshire coast between Scarborough & Bridlington. There’s lots to do day & night either on the park or in the local area. Terms & Rules

Cancellation

Cancellations – up to 6 weeks before start of holiday you lose the £100 booking deposit once full payment has been made and it’s less than 6 weeks before start of holiday no refund will be given. We strongly advise all guests to take out holiday insurance to cover for cancellation.

Terms & Conditions

Please Note you are responsible for fully reading the caravan T&Cs before agreeing to making a booking. By booking a holiday you are confirming your agreement to our terms & conditions.

General Terms and Conditions of Booking Accommodation

The accommodation may only be used by the persons listed on the booking form. That section forms part of our contract and failure to complete it with a list of all occupants may result in your holiday being cancelled. The booker is responsible for the entire party. If you have more people in the caravan than stated and have not asked us first we will remove EVERYONE from the caravan, you will not be reimbursed as you have breached this contract. This is a health and safety requirement. We have to adhere to park rules and insurance requirements. 

The owners reserve the right to inspect the caravan at any time to ensure the Terms & Conditions of hire are being adhered to

Deposit

A £100.00 booking fee for each break (3, 4 or 7 day) is required on booking to secure your hire.  This is non refundable if you decide to cancel the booking. The money will be deducted from your hire charge. Full payment is required if the booking is made less than 6 weeks before start of holiday.

Balance

The balance is payable 6 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. Instalments may be arranged on request. Late payment may result in the caravan being re-let and loss of deposit or cancellation charges being due as detailed below. 

Security Bond

A security bond of £ 100 is payable on top of the hire charge. The bond will be returned within 7 days after the holiday ends provided no damage or excessive cleaning is to be paid for. The accommodation must be left clean and tidy, there will be a £50 surcharge for additional cleaning if the caravan is left in an unsatisfactory condition.

We personally look after the caravan ourselves and provide lots of things that make your holiday more comfortable and enjoyable, we ask that you respect this and leave the caravan as you find it. You can help to protect the bond by removing shoes to keep carpets clean and not allowing children to jump on the furniture. Accidents happen and we are aware that things get broken, but we would appreciate you telling us so we can repair or replace the item. We won’t take your bond for being honest, we will only deduct the cost for expensive repairs. If you do not tell us and we find anything broken or missing we WILL keep your bond. We don’t take money for cups and plates etc, we have lots of spare crockery and utensils etc, we just want to know so we can replace it for the next people to occupy the caravan.

Keys  

Are available at the caravan in the key safe, code will be sent prior to your arrival.. Please phone or text using 07760176772 with your estimated time of arrival

Facility Passes

If you wish to use the facilities while on park you can purchase your own passes online via link sent by Haven once full payment has been made and your arrival has been registered by the owner or when you arrive by going to park reception and showing your booking confirmation. We cannot be held responsible for any issues regarding the onsite facilities which are provided by the park or independent traders and are therefore beyond our control 

Arrival/Departure

Arrival time from 1.30pm. Departure no later than 10am. We will charge an extra £10 per half hour if you are late vacating the caravan. If you leave earlier please use the key box we have provided and please text or call us to let us know you have left.

Bed Linen

Bed linen is available at an extra charge as detailed on booking form if required, otherwise please supply your own. Sleeping without bed linen is not only unhygienic it will mean you are in breach of the Terms & Conditions of hire and can be removed from the caravan immediately with no compensation for loss of holiday. 

Families Only

Being a family park, we only accept bookings from family groups. We cannot accept bookings from young singles or all male / all female parties where the average age is under 21.

Site Behaviour

If, in the opinion of ourselves or the park manager, any party or party member is guilty of conduct prejudicial to the well being of others, we or the park manager may re-take possession of the accommodation immediately, without compensation to the party.

It is the responsibility of named person (the hirer) to ensure that members of the party adhere to the rules. 

Smoking/Vaping Policy

Smoking/Vaping  is prohibited in our caravan. If you smoke/vape, please do so  away from the caravan with the door closed, we do not want the caravan to smell of smoke. If we do smell smoke in the caravan we will deduct £50 excessive cleaning cost from your bond.

Pets

We allow 1 small dog which must not be allowed on the furniture or the beds. If dog is left alone in the van it must he caged and not cause a nuisance to neighbouring vans. Dogs must be kept on a leash while on the park. Please clean up after your dog. For the benefit of other guests please ensure that this policy is kept.

Electric Cars 

Guests are not allowed to charge their electric cars using the caravan supply as it is not safe and can and can cause the supply to  cut off. There are public chargers near park reception or around the local area  if you do charge your car from the caravan supply your £100 bond will be retained

Cancellation

If you have to cancel your holiday you must telephone us in the first instance and NOTIFY US IN WRITING within 7 days. IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION, THE FOLLOWING CHARGES APPLY:

Number of days in advance of holiday start date cancellation charges are payable:
56 days or more Deposit only

55-29 days 50% of the total holiday cost

28 days or less 100% of the total holiday cost 

Unavailability

Should the accommodation booked become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control you will be notified as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made to us for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us. 

Risk

You occupy the property at your own risk. The owners are not responsible for the loss or damage to any personal belongings or valuables of the guests

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out Holiday Insurance to cover accidents, losses, cancellations etc. These policies are available quite cheaply from most insurance brokers and will cover you in case of cancellations due to illness, bereavement etc

Data Protection 

The holding and use of personal information of individuals is regulated by the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). Your personal information is stored on our database and retained for the duration set out in the act. Your name is shared with the park security team for the purposes of health and safety and also to ensure the hirers are complying with the maximum berth capacity of the caravan. No other personal information is shared unless there is a requirement under the act (eg as part of a criminal investigation).

On-site Help

Finally if anything does go wrong, which we hope it doesn’t, please contact us and NOT the Park as any callout or repair charges from the Park  will be deducted from your bond unless we authorise it beforehand. We have our own maintenance personnel and plumber so we never use the Park  services. We are just a phone call away to deal with any problems.
