About the Caravan

Welcome to Vitamin Sea Caravan. We are a family owned rental and we are looking forward to introducing you to our two year old, three bedroom static caravan, located on a well kept site called Skipsea Sands, in Skipsea. Set in the picturesque coastal between Flamborough Head and only 10 miles away from Bridlington. Vitamin Sea is on the beachfront with unspoilt views of the coastline, offering the perfect holiday destination for families and anyone wanting a break from their busy lives. The caravan has been beautifully furnished with three lovely bedrooms , two toilets, shower, open plan kitchen come living room and outside decking. At the front of the caravan offers breathtaking views through the double sliding patio doors. Recently fitted with outside tap. Memory foam mattresses on two of the single beds and on the double bed, and soft mattresses on two single beds. Reclining rattan furniture outside with height-adjustable table. ( Linen, Bathroom Hand Towels & Bamboo Bath Towels are provided within the price) Please Note: Skipsea sands complex will be closed from the beginning of November until the Friday 14th March. However there are amenities close by and plenty of places to visit in the local area. Direct access to the beach is 10-15mins away or man made steps down from the site which is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties and is not the caravan site nor caravan owners responsibility. Enjoy a stroll with family and friends on Kind Charles Third coastal walk. 2026 bookings now available!! If you wish to make a booking but unable to check in or out on your preferred dates and the caravan is showing availability please get in touch for us to accommodate your request. ***Vitamin Sea does not take Group bookings e.g. Hen/Stag Partes. ***
DEPOSITS & PAYMENT
1. A provisional booking will be accepted by Vitamin Sea, subject to receiving a £100 security deposit paid by Bank transfer. Upon receiving the deposit, you will receive confirmation for the dates that you have booked. Please note that ALL bookings are provisional until vitamin sea receive the deposit.
DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION WITHIN THE 6 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR STAY, EXCEPTIONS CAN BE MADE UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.
2. If the security deposit is not received within 24 hours it is assumed by Vitamin Sea that the provisional booking is no longer required.
3. THE BALANCE OF THE HIRE CHARGE IS DUE SIX WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, if the balance is NOT received within this time frame, then Vitamin Sea reserve the right to hire the caravan to someone else. Bookings taken with less than SIX weeks remaining can only be accepted if payment is made in full and received within 24 hours.
4. The security bond is fully refundable at the end of the hire period and returned within 72 hours of departure date. Vitamin Sea reserve the right to withhold some or the entire bond and/or bill the hirer for the additional cost of: A) replacing and/or repairing all damage B) all breakages C) charge for cleaning the caravan or removing stains or replacing as new. ALL BREAKAGES, DAMAGE AND STAINS WITHIN THE CARAVAN MUST BE PAID FOR!!
Any stains or damage to Mattresses, Duvets or pillows will be chargeable and may result in the full deposit not being refunded.
THE HIRER MUST INFORM VITAMIN SEA WITHIN 12 HOURS OF ARRIVAL OF ALL DEFECTS, INVENTORY SHORTAGES AND/ OR BREAKAGES. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOU, THE HIRER BEING RESPONSIBLE.
CANCELLATIONS
5. In the event of a cancellation, the hirer must confirm this in writing. (Security Deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation within the 6 weeks before your stay). If cancelled before the 6 weeks there will be a £25 Admin charge.

6. No refund will be made to the hirer whose hiring has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason including an emergency at home.
7. Once the balance has been paid refunds will only be considered in certain circumstances at Vitamin Sea discretion and subject to the time remaining to the holiday and a replacement booking being obtained.
GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
8. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers who are twenty-five (25) years of age and above. No same sex groups (Hens/Stags) Couples and Families only.
9. Only those people on your booking form can occupy the caravan. Over Occupancy will not be Tolerated. Anyone not named on your booking form will be asked to leave.  You must bring ID with you as you may be asked for this on arrival.
10. ALL changes to a booking are allowed by prior agreement with Vitamin Sea and confirmed in writing.
11. The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons listed on the booking form.  All children must be supervised by parents or another responsible adult throughout the holiday.
12. The hirer agrees that all persons named on the booking form shall be with you (the hirer) during your hire period of the holiday caravan.  The booking form is important because it is for you and your party’s safety and security purposes only.
13. Each person listed on the booking form and your guest(s)/visitor(s) must be prepared to identify themselves to Vitamin Sea upon request and comply with their reasonable requirements.
14. The hirer shall notify the caravan owners in writing with any changes to person(s) listed on the booking form at the earliest possible opportunity and in any event, prior to arrival at the caravan.
15. The hirer must give access to the holiday caravan as / when required to Vitamin Sea.
16. Vitamin Sea reserve the right to refuse any booking without any obligation to give a and / or reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason at their absolute discretion.
 
 
UPON COMMENCEMENT OF HIRE
17. The Caravan may be occupied from 4pm onwards on the first day of hiring.

18. In the case of a maintenance problem, the hirer shall contact Vitamin Sea. D.I.Y repairs must NOT be attempted. If the hirer does any D.I.Y repairs, then rule 4 will apply.
19. Two small dog is allowed, no other pets.  Dogs must be kept under the control of a responsible adult at all times.  Dogs must not be left unattended in the caravan unless in a cage and must not be allowed on the bedding, seating or windowsill any damage to the caravan will be chargeable.  
20. Smoking is NOT permitted in the caravan or decking including E-Cigarettes. If you smoke in the caravan, you will be required to pay an additional fee of £80 for deep cleaning.
21.The caravan is to be left as found, in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next tenants, due to inspection by Vitamin Sea, if the caravan is not left as found there may be a cleaning charge of £25. Any stains on the upholstery will be charged for, it is not our cleaner’s job to clean stains on the upholstery and a cleaning charge will be applied.  Please note that although we accept that accidents happen, any biohazard bedding will be disposed of and rule 4 shall apply.
22. Vitamin Sea do not accept liability for any loss or damage to the hirer’s property and/ or accidents, injuries, illness, diseases, arising from the hire of the caravan or use of the holiday park, including acts of God or extreme weather conditions.
23. The holiday caravan MUST be vacated by 11am on the last day of hiring. Ready for cleaner to check over.
24. No Prams/Buggies allowed in the caravans at any time as this has been known to damage doors and fittings.
25.  Your car and other vehicles – Vitamin Sea require the registration of the vehicles which will be parked outside the caravan.  Only 2 cars may be parked outside the caravan at any one time.  Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk, Vitamin Sea does not accept responsibility for any damage.
26. Noise – Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time of the day. We all like to enjoy ourselves on holiday but please be considerate to other caravan owners, this includes dogs continuous barking while left in the caravan.  Security may be called if there is too much noise, and you may be asked to leave.
27. BBQ’s – (Caravans with decking), BBQs are not allowed on the decking area at any time.  Any damages will be charged for.
28. No felt tip or marker pens are allowed in the caravan, any damage caused by the usage of such pens will be chargeable.
29. Birthday Celebrations, balloons & banners, no drawing pins, etc to be used in the caravan. Any holes in the walls will be charged for.
30. Please do not remove any items from the caravan.  There is an inventory which is checked before your arrival and when you leave.  Any items missing will be charged for.

31. A late check out charge of £25 is in place if the caravan is not vacated by 11am on the morning of departure.
32. Electric Vehicles – Please note that there are no charging points for electric vehicles at the caravan, anyone caught charging their vehicle will be asked to vacate the caravan with immediate effect.
33. WINDOWS: Please ensure that when you leave the caravan on any occasion, please ensure that the windows are closed or on vent as the wind can damage the window which results in a costly repair.
34. Lost keys – In the event that the keys are lost a charge of £100 will be required to replace the keys and the alarm security fob for the caravan.

36. IF YOU ARE ASKED TO VACATE THE CARAVAN / HOLIDAY PARK BY THE HOLIDAY PARK OWNERS OR THEIR STAFF FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, VITAMIN SEA SHALL NOT REFUND ANY MONEY PAID.
PLEASE NOTE*** Once we have received your £100 deposit you the hirer have agreed to the full terms and conditions, as above, as applicable at the time of your booking and holiday. ***
