You can take your partner out for a quiet meal in one of Hertfordshire’s pubs or restaurants offering local dishes or international cuisine and be spoiled for choice; or if you prefer a night out clubbing there are night clubs catering for a wide range of musical tastes. There are often live music concerts and plays in the many theatres in the area or a local band might be playing in your local. No matter what you want to do, most things are possible in Hertfordshire.
Cricket, football and golf are highly popular sports in the County and there are several gymnasiums and keep fit centres for those who want to build some muscle or lose weight. Hertfordshire Sports Village is located at the University of Hertfordshire de Havilland Campus and is open to both students and the public.
