Caravan holidays are more cost effective
To rent a caravan in the East of England is very affordable and considerably cheaper than renting a holiday cottage. Depending on what type of holiday you are looking for you will find the caravan holiday parks offer varying facilities and entertainment; some are quiet, relaxing parks and others offer plenty of leisure activities and fun-packed entertainment. Some parks are very close to the beach, others have both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Activities include fishing, archery, tennis, golf, gymnasiums and much more depending on the park you choose. Some offer evening entertainment including cabaret, discos, bars and restaurants.

So many things to do and places to see
From the various caravan holiday parks you can go into beautiful countryside for walking, cycling and horse riding. Or you can visit the main towns and villages.

Norfolk is known for its dry sunny winters and Great Yarmouth, on the east coast of Norfolk, continues to be one of the UK’s most popular sea-side resorts. There is a large Tourist Information centre in Great Yarmouth where you can find information about some of the many  attractions in the area including the Sea Life Centre and Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens. There is ten pin bowling in the town and great stock car and greyhound racing at Yarmouth Stadium. Great Yarmouth with its significant maritime heritage has a wealth of historical monuments to view and the annual weekend event of the Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival.

Visit the capital of the Essex coast – Clacton on Sea
Elsewhere in the East of England is Clacton-on-Sea which is often considered the capital of the Essex coast. In Clacton you will find planted cliff-top gardens, wide sweeping beaches, a fun-filled pier with many fairground rides and a town centre with ample retail outlets where you can shop till you drop if you wish.
