Many visitors don’t think twice about renting a caravan as a base to set out on their adventures, from one of the many caravan holiday parks to be found in North Wales. Static caravans provide people with a place to sleep after a packed day of activity and a place to relax in the same comfort as they might find in their own homes, if not better!
North Wales is one of the most spectacularly beautiful places in the British Isles which might explain why so many tourists return to the area year after year to spend their holidays just relaxing in the countryside or to participate in more energetic pursuits.
Great things to do when you leave your rented caravan
There are no less than 5 golf courses in North Wales and here are two of the most challenging:
Prestatyn Golf Club – which has existed since 1905 and is a Championship 18 hole course guaranteed to be challenging for seasoned professional golfers but also great for testing out beginners’ skills. Located behind rolling sand dunes, it’s only a few metres from the sea.
If you want to book a few rounds visit the Prestatyn Golf Club website or call 01745 854320
Conwy Golf Club – you can play golf throughout the year on this 18 hole golf course which is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty against a backdrop of the North Wales coastline. For more details visit Conwy Golf Club website or call 01492 592423
If you are renting a caravan with your wife please make sure you take back a bottle of wine with flowers if you have left her to cook your meal after your round of golf. Golfing widows tend not to be happy people!
